Lilla: International Women's Movement - Showcasing "Ted & I"

You know, I've always had a a women empowerment in my bones so it doesn't stop me short from participating and involving myself in some fantastic movments that has emerged earlier this year. So come check out a selection of ICE digital stories made by women (and also one by me called "The Adventures of Ted & I") from Western Sydney on the 8 November at the Lilla International Women’s Network event launch “Walking Together” at the Mori Gallery. Guest speakers include Lillian Holt and Paula Abood.

I know you might think that this is for chicks only, but let me reassure you its not. So all the boys and girls please come along to this event on a nice Sunday afternoon.

Lillia is a project of the Edmund Rice Centre for Justice and Community Education and was set up to connect women at the grassroots working for social justice. This exhibition “Walking Together” will showcase women’s creative responses to a range of issues they tackle in their every day lives. The event will also celebrate the official launch of Lilla: International Women’s Movement.
