Shaun suggests that is was Goulburn’s top bakery (To our thought, we weren’t convinced if there was any competition anyways).

But indeed, is a delightful pit stop between our journey back to Sydney (3 hours drive). The bakery itself has was hidden gem, unknown to the eye. But flaunted tantalising array of bread specialties, scrumptious pies, sweets and savouries.

We immediately consulted about their “best” and we decided on purchasing their potato pie & top selling vanilla slices all for a peanut price of $7.50 (which JH displayed such chivalry in covering).

POTATO PIE:
JH: “love the crunchy crust of the potato of the pie, the meat tasted lean, without the MSG in comparison to the Vietnamese bakeries.”
MT: “texture of the potato was just right as it protrudes on of top the mince meat filling”

VANILLA SLICE:
JH: “A Little hard on top but the custard filling left you craving for more”
MT: “”Didn’t enjoy the thick sugar layer, but the custard filling had an interesting aroma that tasted gourmet”
