After coming back from making "Fist Of The Dragon" movie in China, I plough straight into another exciting community project called "Agents of Change" - a program for young Vietnamese people on skilling up on all things filmic and collaborating on making a TV series.
I'm the creative producer as well as the overseeing director of this project and will be running a lot of the workshops in conjunction with other Australian industry practitioners.
Below are the details.
Calling on individuals who would like to take part in making a 4 x 5 min Vietnamese (bilingual) web series on the issues of hepatitis B and making a difference!
WHAT
B+ Agent of Change initiative is about empowering individuals in understanding about the health condition of hepatitis B, debunking myths and misconceptions as well as encouraging individuals to get tested and treatment if needed.
... ICE is working with Filmmaker and Transmedia artist Maria Tran to facilitate workshops about film with young people of the Fairfield LGA. The group will then make a web series together to raise awareness about Hep B in their community.
Young people will be selected to address and enliven the health issue of hepatitis B on four film episodes. Please get in touch and reserve your place asap.

What you’ll be doing: storytelling to scriptwriting, storyboarding, camera techniques, film editing, acting for screen as well as working with the latest cinematic industry standard equipment, the RED camera.
Why: B+ Agents of Change aims to generate a framework for young people to use and apply creative skills in their own lives, spaces and creative projects, through learning and applying these skills to social health messaging.
