Here's some excitement. Each venue is screening two sessions, both featuring the best of culturally diverse Australian screen content. We would love for you to join us in celebrating the best of film, culture and expression, representing the realities and dreams of all Australians.

2010 Colourfest National Film Festival - Don’t trash what you don’t know…you don’t even know me!

I thought I pass this one one through my networks and also all those avid filmmakers out there. My ICE colleague Gary (Also the Create Media Coordinator) is running the Colourfest Festival this year. I'm preparations to submit a 2 min Quest for Jackie Chan Trailer (once I get it done of course!). Don't forget to pass this one on!

Signing out,

Maria Tran.

Don’t trash what you don’t know…you don’t even know me!

Colourfest is sending a call out to all culturally diverse film makers in Australia.

Colourfest was born out of love for film making, and a yawn for predictable Australian shorts that seem to make it to our screens every year. There seems to be a multitude of films from culturally diverse Australian film makers, but where art thou on screen?

We want Australia and the world to watch our films and love it, here is your platform to showcase your work.

Entries Due: 28th of April, 5pm.

Rules and regulations: Your film must be under 14mins, made in Australia within the last two years, with at least one member of key cast or key crew from a culturally diverse background (lead/supporting actors, writer, director, editor, producer and cinematographer). Your film can be in a language other than English, with English subtitles.

Submission requirements: One DVD of the film, with entry form (NO FEE REQUIRED).

A press kit will be required if your film is selected, this includes a short synopsis (50 words), profiles of the directors and/or producers, a full credit list.

On the night, we will have an audience vote for the best film shown. With prizes included!
