The Fight - Raamon Vaccaro - Directed by Maria Tran My Quest for Jackie Chan! had its first stop in Brisbane and amongst the workshops, road trips to the Sunshine Coast, I managed to squeeze in 2 hours to work with Parkour artist and actor Raamon Vaccaro and his team on a quick short film.
This was my first time meeting the guys and finally meeting Raamon (a.k.a "Jerds") and we managed to fit a lot in during the two hour session. Here was my chance to also to train my "eye" for action and choreography, which prior to that I haven't had much to do with camera work of fight sequences.
Truthfully, I wasn't sure what I was going to get from a bunch of "intuitive" action shots. I was really playing by ear and hoping for the best that the footage gave me something.
To my surprise it turned out "watchable" and quirky and I'm quite proud of this little fight sequence that I and Raamon coordinated.
