ENTER: Global Vietnamese Film Network

Just letting you know, that the Global Vietnamese Film Network (GVFN) is calling for submissions. Deadline is the 30th April, 2011 (But hey, it wouldn't hurt to email them and ask for an extension). The finalist will be screened in locations of both Sydney and Melbourne so it will be definitely exciting to see this happen.
So if you are Vietnamese and have made a short of some sort, take it to the next level and try to get it in this festival for some global profiling.

Check out last year's trailer.

Global Viet Film Network is the only global international organisation seeking to unite the global Vietnamese film community. We are an informal, non political body, whom is environmentally flexible - our aim is to celebrate new artistic discoveries from around the world by offering a screening platform for Vietnamese and International filmmakers to showcase their films and talent. We are proud to promote films through various media networks and to foster the role of film festivals.
In 2010 we had presented 9 short films each under thirty minutes in duration to both the public and the professional film industry. These films predominantly explore the life choices and life changes of Vietnamese people, set are the world.
The films showcased invite audiences to respond to the circumstances that they portray and the outcomes they deliver.
